Robert Morgan, the Member of Parliament of Clarendon, North Central has resigned from his position as head of public relations for the Jamaica Labour Party.
This confirmation was made this afternoon, following a meeting of the JLP Central Executive at its headquarters on Belmont Road in St Andrew.
JLP stated that the position has yet to be filled.
Homer Davis (Member of Parliament, St James Southern) and Audley G. Gordon, Executive Director, National Solid Waste Management Authority have also quit their posts as deputy general secretaries.
Delroy Williams, Deputy Mayor for Kingston and Councilor, is now the deputy general secretariat in charge of area one, while Charles Sinclair will be the deputy general secrecy in the fourth.

Daryl Vaz was appointed as JLP Treasurer today, another major announcement.
Vaz succeeds Senator Aubyn Hills who was reassigned as the Party’s Secretariat, where he is responsible for overseeing strategic development.
Central Executive, the JLP’s most powerful decision-making organ outside its annual conference.
This is the first Central Executive Meeting since local elections held on 26 February.
