The Buffalo Niagara Partnership is celebrating National Small Business Week with a new opportunity for small businesses in Western New York.
It is now offering a free membership level called BNP Pro Free to local businesses with five employees or less as well as locally-owned bars and restaurants. This gives these businesses a new chance for networking, workshops, inclusion in a membership directory and membership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
“We are committed to ensuring financial barriers don’t prevent our region’s smallest local businesses from getting the support they need,” said Dottie Gallagher, president and Chief Executive Officer of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. “BNP Pro Free is our moment to double down on our support for small businesses as they navigate the same complicated landscape as larger organizations.”
The new free membership level was created with support from National Grid.
“This new offering will undoubtedly serve as a powerful resource for our region’s vital network of small business professionals, and ultimately strengthen our community,” says Ken Kujawa, regional director for National Grid. “We appreciate The Partnership’s leadership in providing innovative solutions that bolster small enterprises, as well as local bar and restaurant businesses; and we look forward to supporting this important initiative.”
The Buffalo Niagara Partnership is the area’s regional chamber of commerce.
