SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – An event this Thursday evening allowed local non-profits to connect with their communities and expand their reach.
Over 200 guests gathered at the ‘Fire and Ice Craft Cocktail Premiere Networking’ event at the Marriott downtown hosted by the Springfield Regional Chamber. The chamber members worked with hotel bartenders to develop their own signature cocktails with food pairings to serve through the night. Nearly 15 non-profits got to share their mission, attracting potential volunteers and board members.
“So many non-profits around here in the area are very small so you know it is really hard for them to connect with an audience this large at once,” said President of Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce, Diana Szynal. “This is great opportunity to do, the chamber is really proud to have them all here tonight.”
22News reporter Melissa Torres served as emcee for the event.
