Powered by strong returns for shares of Intel and Microsoft, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Wednesday afternoon. The Dow DJIA is trading 100 points higher (0.3%), as shares of Intel INTC and Microsoft MSFT are contributing to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday rally. Intel’s shares have climbed $0.72, or 2.4%, while those of Microsoft have gained $6.88, or 1.7%, combining for a roughly 50-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Dow DOW, undefined AMZN, and Goldman Sachs GS. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the benchmark equates to a 6.57-point swing.
