TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Two East Texas groups are working together to host a screening of “UnCharitable,” a documentary based on the book that inspired one of the most talked-about TED talks of all time.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals East Texas Chapter (AFP) and Habitat for Humanity of Smith County (HFHSC) are holding a special screening of “UnCharitable,” a 90-minute documentary based on the book by Dan Pallotta. This event is made possible by the presenting sponsor, Sigler Crist Agency.
The screening will take place on June 11 at Liberty Hall in downtown Tyler. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and the program begins at 5:45 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
Following the screening, a Nonprofit Professionals Q&A session will be held. The hosts say the documentary is truly eye-opening for those interested in understanding our community through nonprofits and for-profits.
