Call of Duty: Warzone & Modern Warfare 3‘s meta is ever-evolving, with every new update making a series of changes to the weapons in the game. As a result, players are quite curious to know which are the best meta weapons to use in Season 4 of the game.
The Season 4 update made a plethora of changes to the game, ranging from the release of new aftermarket parts to new weapons and more. Not to forget, as always, some tweaks to the gun stats came alongside the update too. The meta has changed quite a bit since Season 3, but there are still a number of viable options players can choose from.

The current meta weapons have been segregated into tiers depending on how effective they are. These are currently some of the most used weapons in Warzone & Modern Warfare 3, so players can’t really go wrong with any of these. That being said, some are more suited for certain scenarios and can give players a slight advantage on the battlefield.
S-Tier
![the Holger 26 in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone](https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/the-holger-26-in-modern-warfare-3-and-warzone.jpg)
The S-Tier comprises the Kar98k, MCW, SVA 545, RAM-9. These weapons suit an array of playstyles and players can pick any of these with no issues whatsoever, considering how good they are. The Kar98k has been by far the most dominating gun this season, with players building it for a variety of playstyles. One of the best ways to use it is to set it up with fast ADS speed, allowing players to quickly scope in and out, just like how the MORS functioned last season. The alleged better aim assist on the Kar98k along with the faster ADS speed makes it an absolute nightmare.
When it comes to the Assault Rifles, both the MCW and Holger 556 are really good options. While the MCW has the best time to kill in the game at 290 ms, it suffers from lesser range so is more suited for mid to close-ranged combat. For players who prefer to prefer a weapon that gives them more flexibility, the Holger 556 comes with a much higher range without sacrificing too much on the TTK.
Last but not least, as far as the SMG is concerned, the Superi-46 has been the meta for this season. One of the issues with SMGs has been their range, but the Superi 46 fixes that with its better range without the recoil being that hard to control. Another aspect that plays in its favor is the better mobility with the strafe speeds. For players who prefer fast-paced combat, the Superi 46 is by far the best choice this season.
A-Tier

The A-Tier guns are not as good as the S-Tier ones, but players can’t go much wrong with them as well. These include the MTZ-556, Renetti, SVA-545, and Pulemyot 762. While the Pulemyot 762 is an LMG, the JAK Annihilator Bullpup Kit gives it added mobility without causing a significant hit to the range. In fact, the conversion kit makes the base weapon pretty much redundant considering how effective it is.

Call of Duty Warzone 2: How to Fix Packet Burst Error
Here are all the methods to fix the Packet Burst error in Call of Duty Warzone 2.
The MTZ-556 has the second-best AR TTK in the game after the MCW and offers a similar range. It is much more suited for close and medium-range combat, and players are much better off using other rifles that are more suited for long-range, like the SVA 545. For players who want a good balance between the recoil and range, then the SVA 545 is a good alternative to the Holger 556. It offers a slightly lower range but the fact that certain loadouts can almost make it a no-recoil weapon is something that makes it extremely powerful.
Last but not least, the Renetti. The JAK Ferocity Carbine Kit which made the Renetti one of the most annoying weapons last season is only a shadow of its former self, but is still a really good weapon if built correctly. Its TTK at close range still rivals some of the best SMGs in the game so players can still use it quite effectively, despite lacking that overpowered advantage that it previously had.
B-Tier
![wsp swarm smg in modern warfare 3.](https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/wsp-swarm-smg-loadout-class-setuo-guide-mw3.jpg)
Both the RAM-9 and WSP Swarm have been pretty popular SMGs in the past, and they continue to be a core part of the meta. The WSP Swarm has the best TTK when it comes to SMGs, so for players who are looking for a highly effective weapon at close range. However, at longer ranges it is probably a better idea to use the WSP-9 instead, as it has better TTK. Not to forget, players will have a much easier time controlling the WSP-9. The DG-58 LSW is a really good weapon with or without the aftermarket part, boasting an extremely good range as well as a decent TTK. What makes it an extremely viable choice is the great recoil control at longer ranges, something that other weapons struggle to offer.
C-Tier
![call of duty warzone mw3 lockwood mk 2 loadout and class setup 2](https://static0.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/img_8069-1.jpg)
The Lockwook MK2‘s JAK Wardens conversion kit was one of the most awaited aftermarket parts in recent times, and it made its entry in the same old broken fashion it is well known for in the Call of Duty franchise. However, after a few balance changes, it lost its shine. While it’s not broken anymore, it is still a great weapon to try out at close range, and the akimbo adds a lot of flair to the gameplay as well.
The same goes for the MORS as well. While it is a pretty good weapon, the emergence of the Kar98k and the nerfs it was subject to did deteriorate its significance. That being said, if players know how to build it right, it can still be a really good quick-scope weapon to rely on. The Rival-9 is an all-rounded SMG, giving a good balance between the range and TTK. It also received a few buffs lately which further improved its range, so players should definitely give it a shot.
