A 204-megawatt solar farm near Oenaville will supply power to the Meta data center being built in Temple, and the solar system is expected to be operational by 2026.
Pine Gate Renewables and Meta executed an agreement last month that will provide “renewable attributes” from the Limewood Bell Solar Project located seven miles from the Temple Meta site.

Poll
Do you favor reducing the frequency of Killeen City Council meetings and workshops from every week to twice a month?
You voted:
1. Yes. It would free up time for the mayor, City Council, city manager and city staff.
2. Yes. It would give council members more time to study an issue before it is discussed.
3. No. Council meetings are already too long. Reducing their frequency would be unworkable.
4. No. Cutting the number of meetings means reducing residents’ input. That’s a bad idea.
5. Unsure. The proposal has some merit, but it could require marathon council sessions.
