Starbucks followed in McDonald’s footsteps by launching a value meal, but instead of appeasing customers, the move has sparked a wave of fury.
Now the coffee chain has been accused of charging customers outlandish prices for years, Fox Business has reported.
The new value meal offers a croissant and a coffee for $5. The $6 option includes a breakfast sandwich and a tall iced or hot coffee.

For $7 customers can have a a double-smoked bacon sandwich or an Impossible Sandwich and a coffee.
On fan wrote on X: “If they can still make money while offering these prices imagine how much they have been gouging you all these years.”
“Where exactly is the value? ” another shopper asked.
“A tall? Wtf is this? I feel like I’m taken for a ride,” one said.
