Today is the third day of my indefinite hunger strike. I am on strike because there is a huge water crisis in Delhi. Delhi does not have its own water. All the water in Delhi comes from neighbouring states. The total water in Delhi is 1005 MGD. Out of which 613 MGD (million gallons per day) comes from Haryana but in the last 3 weeks, Haryana has reduced it. They are not giving water to Delhi… The Haryana government says that we do not have water but yesterday some people went to Hathni Kund Barrage and showed that there is water in the Hathni Kund Barrage but the gate from which water is released for Delhi has been closed and water is not being released from there

NEET-UG retest to be conducted for 1,563 candidates today
A retest for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) is scheduled to be held today in six cities for 1,563 candidates. This decision comes in the wake of allegations of irregularities in the NEET-UG, including paper leaks. Officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Union Education ministry will oversee the examination, which will take place from 2 pm to 5:20 pm.
The re-examination is being conducted after the NTA withdrew grace marks that were initially awarded to students due to a delay in the start of the examination at six centres across the country. The delay led to six students scoring a perfect 720 marks, along with 61 others, sparking allegations of mark inflation and triggering a political row.
In a related development, the Home Ministry postponed the NEET-PG examinations, which were scheduled to take place today. The government stated that new dates would be announced soon, emphasizing that this decision was made in the students’ best interests and to uphold the examination’s integrity.
Just prior to the announcement of the NEET-PG exam postponement, the government replaced the chief of the NTA, which is responsible for conducting the NEET-UG. Subodh Kumar Singh, the NTA director general, has been replaced by retired Indian Administration Service (IAS) officer Pradeep Singh Kharola.
“Never in the history of independent India, has a government been so utterly incompetent to even conduct an examination for the students. This is the third examination that is cancelled and fourth examination that is under cloud,” says DMK leader Saravanan Annadurai
