TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — SpaceX is kicking off Memorial Day with an early-morning Falcon 9 launch of 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Cape Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
The launch is targeted for 7:30 a.m. with backup opportunities until 11:30 a.m.
This is the 10th flight for the first-stage booster supporting this mission, according to SpaceX. The stage booster previously launched Crew-6, SES O3b mPOWER, USSF-124, and six Starlink missions.
Following stage separation, the first stage will land on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.
The Falcon 9 launch will be streamed live through this story, on WFLA.com, and our Facebook page. If needed, an additional launch opportunity will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.
