Karbo Communications, a tech PR and digital marketing agency, has unveiled a new name, logo and website, along with what it is calling the Rapid Results Method. Now known simply as Karbo, the agency has new branding that is “totally customer focused, delivered through the lens of the opportunities and challenges that tech companies of all sizes are up against right now,” says Karbo founder Julie Karbo. She adds that the Rapid Results Method is “meticulously designed to deliver measurable ROI both swiftly and efficiently. This velocity and agility permeate every facet of our approach, from accelerated planning and ultra-responsive communications to expedited delivery across deliverables. We directly connect PR and marketing programs to concrete outcomes, employing advanced measurement and attribution methods.” Prior to founding Karbo Communications, Karbo was co-founder and CEO of K/F Communications. She also held leadership roles at Stirling & Karbo, Ketchum PR and Regis McKenna, counseling hundreds of tech pioneers and working with clients including Apple, Cisco, Equinix and Oracle.
Press Record Communications rebrands as PR73, an integrated communications firm intended to help develop insight strategy and content that can help fortify trust across internal and external audiences. The “PR”in PR73 acknowledges the need to break down the walls between public relations and marketing, as well as showcasing how public relations plays a critical role in developing and maintaining a thriving brand. Agency founder and lead strategist Justin Goldstein says PR73 can provide a more holistic suite of public relations and marketing services, including advanced content development and leveraging content for CRMs like Hubspot. It will continue to offer such services as broadcast media relations—outreach to television, radio, and podcasts—that will continue to drive valuable global, national and local media placements.
The Uptown Agency acquires RBA, an agency that has produced work for such brands as Golden Chick, Transwestern, Dickey’s Barbeque Pit, JLL, Cotton Patch Cafe, CBRE, Harwood International, Legends, Swiss American, Grayson Whiskey, Rhoback and Purdue University. The Uptown Agency will absorb RBA’s team and client portfolio. “Bringing RBA into The Uptown Agency family is a clear win as clients demand more intelligent, data-driven media and results in our space. RBA’s media and creative capabilities are highly innovative, and its team’s ability to scale quickly and efficiently across many different verticals makes it instantly prepared to be leveraged across our client base,” said The Uptown Agency CEO Joseph Alexander.
