Nusenda Credit Union is committed to making a positive impact in New Mexico. Giving back to the community, Nusenda’s Community Rewards program is just one of the ways the local credit union is improving the lives of those in the Land of Enchantment.
Nusenda is New Mexico’s largest locally owned and operated credit union. With more than 25 branches throughout the state, Nusenda caters to over 260,000 members and employs over 800 people.
Nusenda customers can earn Community Rewards by making ten or more signature-based purchases on a Nusenda debit card each month. With the transactions, Nusenda members will earn cash back, and the credit union will contribute a cash reward to the community via non-profit grants. The money funded through the program is distributed to non-profits in the areas of education, healthcare, environment and wildlife, the arts, and community services and support.
In 2023 alone, Nusenda Credit Union awarded $634,000 to 108 non-profit programs and organizations through the program. Non-profits that would like to apply for the 2024 grants can do so from July 1 through August 30. To find out more about the grant program or to apply, click here.
