Google announced it is shutting down its service Google One VPN. Google One’s users are informed of the service’s demise via email. One member of our team also received an email from Google in which the company did not give a specific date to shut down the Google One VPN but said that it would be discontinued “later this summer.”

Google One VPN is an alternative VPN service from Google. Virtual private networks are popular. Like Nord VPN or Express VPN. All Google One plans are available, even the $1.99/month cheapest one.
Google announced in an email that it is phasing VPN by Google One out to allow for other features and benefits. It was also confirmed by the company. 9to5Google The company says that the VPN service is being discontinued because, “people were not using it.” Users of the existing service will then be directed to alternative services.
Google has confirmed that Pixel owners with a Pixel 7, or a newer model, will be able access Google’s VPN via the Pixel Settings.
Google will also stop offering free shipping on select prints ordered from Google Photos starting May 15 in Canada, UK, US and EU.
